Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mike Bell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Taylor Clark (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Taylor Clark has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mike Bell! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Taylor Clark! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Chris Downing and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Clark thows a body shot but no joy. Clark loads up on a big right hand but Bell slips the punch. Clark fails to land the takedown. Clark throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Bell avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Bell moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Bell ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Clark moves away. Bell jabbing away but nothing is landing. Bell misses the jab. Bell darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Bell is keen to just control but Clark is a slippery customer. Bell not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bell is pressing down on Clark's thigh, looking to free his foot. Clark is holding on for now. Clark tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Bell has advanced to mount. Uh oh. Clark tries to hold on but Bell pushes him away. Clark is working to get back to half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Bell throwing shots from mount but they're not landing. Clark tries to lock up and control but Bell gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Bell mounts Clark! Really nice guard pass there! Bell trying to control but Clark is having none of it. Clark keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Bell thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Bell trying to mount his opponent but Clark defends it.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Bell throws a hook to the side of Clark's head but Clark sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Jab from Bell. Clark misses with an attempted mid kick.
Clark wants to clinch. Bell swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Bell lands a nice shot that snaps Clark's head back.

Mike Bell dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Clark misses with a shot to the body so Bell counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Bell tries to free his leg and advance position but Clark is retaining full guard. Clark is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Bell trying to control the position from guard on top but Clark is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Clark trying to keep a closed guard but Bell is proving a slippery customer.

That's one minute gone in the round. Bell passes Clark's left leg - he's now in half guard. Bell is looking to pass Clark's guard but actually Clark recovers to full guard. Bell seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Bell trying to control but Clark is working from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Clark throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Clark looking to hit a scissor sweep but Bell is one step ahead there. Bell trying to control but Clark is working from the bottom. Clark keeping full guard, as Bell tries to pass. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Bell postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mike Bell dominated that second round. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!
A swing and a miss from Bell. Bell throws a jab when Clark was well out of range. Bell bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Bell throws a series of punches but Clark avoids them all with ease. Bell cracks a nice hook into Clark's ribs. Clark takes one on the button. Bell keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Clark looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Bell is fending him off so far but Clark persists. Nope, Bell circles away and we're back to standing. Nice defenses there by Bell. Bell misses with a takedown and Clark counters with a left to the body. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Clark takes a swing at Bell's ribcage but misses. Clark lands a slapping body shot.
Clark displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Bell throws out the jab. Bell fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Clark manages to avoid it. Nice body punch from Bell.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bell throws a hook to the side of Clark's head but Clark sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. A left lands for Bell. Bell tries for a takedown but Clark circles away easily and Clark counters with a lovely shot to the body. Clark gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Bell connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. A shot to de liver by Bell. Beautiful body shot. Clark lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Bell shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Clark lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Bell! Bell tries to reverse the position but Clark maintains control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Clark looking to control but Bell is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Bell tries to hold on but Clark pushes him away. Bell is squirming around, avoiding Clark's attempts to control the action. Bell working to try and regain half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Clark wants to take Bell's back here but Bell is holding on to an arm, himself looking to escape.
Bell regains half guard. Bell trying to get back to full guard but Clark takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Clark goes for an armbar but Bell turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Bell.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bell trying to control but Clark is working from the bottom. Clark is trying to control the position from the bottom.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Bell stopping the sweep attempt from Clark.
And that's the end of the fight! Mike Bell showed his dominance in that final round. Well Bell has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
