Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jaime Alvarez!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Alekcey Kiser!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Frank Dennis and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kiser on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
A jab from Alvarez does it's job there.
Kiser takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
A punch lands to the side of Kiser 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Kiser shoots for a takedown but Alvarez saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Kiser moves into the clinch successfully.
Alvarez has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Kiser uses from the top position.
Alvarez looking for a sweep. Not yet Alvarez, not yet.
Alvarez is pulling down on Kiser's head. It's preventing any offense from Kiser, at least for the moment.
Alvarez has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Kiser should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Alvarez has tightened it up now! Kiser should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
