Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Park Jae Sung (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Myles O Donnell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). O Donnell has chosen Anti by Mayhem as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Myles O Donnell!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Trevor Gratis and Alec Ball.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jae Sung throws a low kick but it's checked well by O Donnell.
Jae Sung tries a head kick but it misses.
Jae Sung rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and O Donnell counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
O Donnell keeps the fight on the outside.
A little jabbing left from O Donnell on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Jae Sung throws a head kick but O Donnell moves out of range.
Jae Sung drops his hands momentarily and O Donnell takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
O Donnell misses the jab.
Jae Sung checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Jae Sung tries to counter with a takedown but O Donnell is quick to defend against it.
O Donnell ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Jae Sung moves away.

and O Donnell counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Jae Sung throws a quick head kick that skims the top of O Donnell's head.
O Donnell lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Jae Sung tries to clinch up.
Jae Sung misses with an uppercut. O Donnell saw that one coming.
Jae Sung throws a nice outside leg kick.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Jae Sung throws a chopping leg kick but O Donnell manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
O Donnell uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Jae Sung.
Jae Sung goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Park Jae Sung seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
O Donnell avoids the body shot from Jae Sung.

O Donnell uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

O Donnell cracks a nice hook into Jae Sung's ribs.
Jae Sung ducks right into an uppercut from O Donnell.
Jae Sung fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and O Donnell has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Jae Sung closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Jae Sung throws a head kick that lands with a deafening thwack! The crowd roars as O Donnell stumbles backwards and falls to the mat. Jae Sung follows into mount!


O Donnell is rocked!


It looks like Myles O Donnell has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Jae Sung wants to finish this one by submission but O Donnell is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Jae Sung.
O Donnell is still in real trouble! Can Jae Sung finish him?
O Donnell is trying to escape the mount but Jae Sung keeps good control and instead manages to take O Donnell's back.
O Donnell is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Jae Sung off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted.
Jae Sung is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish.
Jae Sung seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.

Jae Sung is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. O Donnell is defending well though. Jae Sung let's go of the attempt for now.

Jae Sung is looking for a choke. O Donnell gets to his feet with his opponent on his back and slams him to the mat. O Donnell manages to squirm out of the attempted choke and turns into his opponent's guard.
O Donnell is looking to stand up but Jae Sung won't let him.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Jae Sung moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

That was a close round but I would say that Park Jae Sung will probably get the nod.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


O Donnell avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
O Donnell lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.

Jae Sung looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Our spies down at at Bruize Brothers inform us that O Donnell has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?

A punch lands to the side of Jae Sung 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Jae Sung fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but O Donnell is out of range.
Jae Sung lands a lovely overhand right.
Good exchange - Jae Sung coming out on top.
Jae Sung digs a good body shot into O Donnell's ribs.
O Donnell connects with a solid leg kick.
Jae Sung waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract O Donnell.
Jae Sung's hands are dropping dangerously low here and O Donnell connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Jae Sung scrambles back to his feet.
Jae Sung connects with a jab.

Jae Sung sets himself and throws a head kick that knocks O Donnell to the ground! Jae Sung dives into full mount looking to finish!

Jae Sung goes for an armbar but he's not got it… O Donnell turns into him and now he's in Jae Sung's guard.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!


O Donnell wants to stay close but Jae Sung steps back to make room for something. O Donnell seems frozen to the spot and bam! huge swing of the leg from Jae Sung and O Donnell drops like he has been shot! A huge head kick and it's all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Park Jae Sung!
During a confident post fight interview, Park Jae Sung thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
