The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Phil Schofield and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Leach looks to land a right hand but Stokes moved out of range.
Stokes checks a leg kick.
Leach swings for the body but Stokes moves out of range.
Leach is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Stokes.
Leach throws an off balance right hand
and Stokes counters by moving into the clinch.
Stokes is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Leach pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Leach wants to stall.
Stokes has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Leach is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Stokes escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Stokes shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Leach as he avoids it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Leland Stokes. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Leach throws a hook but Stokes blocks it.
Stokes is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Leach drops Stokes with a huge uppercut! Stokes drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Leach is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
