Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dan Hardy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kullervo Pelli (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pelli comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Juha Vainio - Nakkila kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Kullervo Pelli will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Tarja Halkonen and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hardy throws an overhand right that lands on Pelli's shoulder, as Pelli tries to avoid the shot.
That kick from Pelli tenderised Hardy's leg. Hardy is trying to keep his angry face on.
Pelli misses with a looping left.
Hardy throws a body kick, spinning off balance
and Pelli counters with a right hand to the body.
Pelli lands a jab-cross combination.
Hardy misses with a head kick.
Pelli lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Hardy is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Pelli's half guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
It looks like Hardy is going to stand back up.
Pelli tries to kick Hardy off but Hardy keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Pelli wants to stand back up but Hardy manages to pass into side control.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Pelli tries to escape but Hardy is in control.
The referee asks Hardy politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Hardy prefers to stall for the moment though.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Pelli moves out of range of the body kick.
Hardy takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Pelli misses with a few strikes there.
Nice body punch from Hardy.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Hardy lands a high kick!
Pelli punishes Hardy's body with a nice straight punch.
Pelli swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Hardy shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Pelli sprawls well. Pelli wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Hardy gets slowly back to his feet.
Pelli is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Pelli changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Hardy is breathing heavily.
Pelli lands a nice shot to the body.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Pelli throws a series of punches but Hardy moves out of range.
Pelli uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Hardy.
Hardy takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
It looks like Dan Hardy has been cut.
Pelli misses with a body shot.
As Pelli looks to move away, Hardy throws a big counter combo bu Pelli just gets out of the way.

and Hardy counters with a left and a right that stings Pelli.
Pelli is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Hardy rather than just go for the knockout.

Hardy throws a combination that misses
and Pelli counters with a crisp right hand that drops Hardy! Pelli lets Hardy back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Hardy is rocked!
Hardy doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Oh Hardy is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Pelli flashes Hardy a smile before throwing a beast of a right hand, straight down the pipe. Hardy's eyes follow the hand right onto his nose, taking in it's full glory... and then darkness. Hardy crumples to the floor! He's out cold! Pelli punches the air and yells at the top of his lungs - yeeeeeeeeeeah!!!! This one is all over!
