Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kerim Kararak! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Marcin Kozowski! The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Anni Minnemäki and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kozowski is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Kararak's half guard. Kozowski is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Kozowski is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Kozowski is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kozowski is pressing down on Kararak's thigh, looking to free his foot. Kararak is holding on for now. Kozowski is still trying to improve position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kozowski is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Kozowski has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Kozowski goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Kararak rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Kozowski's guard! Nice work there by Kararak!

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Kozowski told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Kararak wants to control from the top but Kozowski keeps moving. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kararak uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Kozowski. Kararak appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Kararak slips under a jab from Kozowski. Kararak half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Kozowski swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Kararak appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Kozowski throws a lazy right hand but Kararak sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Kozowski throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Kozowski has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Kararak takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Kozowski's jab looks to have found its range, popping Kararak under the eye. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kararak moves away from the strike by Kozowski. Kararak changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Kararak gets caught napping as Kozowski dives in and scores a takedown. Kararak manages to retain guard. Kozowski drops back, looking for a kneebar! Kararak looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Kararak looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Kararak! Kozowski gets back to half guard.

Kararak is aware though and is defending well. Kararak looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Kozowski tries to buck Kararak off but Kararak is having none of it. Kozowski manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Kozowski wants to improve his position but Kararak is controlling well.

Marcin Kozowski showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Kararak got a little sloppy there for a moment and Kozowski has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Kararak has managed to get both his arms back between Kozowski's legs - danger averted.

Kozowski drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Kozowski as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Kararak screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Kozowski! Nice submission victory there!
