Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tadija Tadic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ping Lin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tired and clearly flustered, he entered the arena late and after a little discussion it was decided that the bout should take place. Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tadija Tadic and Ping Lin. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tadija Tadic! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Ping Lin! The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lin lands with a nice body kick. A solid body kick from Lin. Lin swings for the body but Tadic moves out of range.
Tadic attempts a counter takedown but Lin avoids it well and moves away. Lin swinging wildly here.
Lin tries to sprawl but Tadic drives through with a takedown into half guard. Lin trying to control from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Tadic is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Tadic is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lin is staying active underneath Tadic, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Tadic tries to pass the half guard into mount. Lin knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Tadic is trying to control the action in half guard but Lin is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Lin wants to control but Tadic is keeping busy.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Tadic is working for a kimura but Lin is defending it quite comfortably.
Tadic is thwarting Lin's attempts to control the position. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Tadic sitting and controlling from the half guard.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Lin defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Tadic. Tadic fails with the takedown and Lin counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Lin fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Tadic looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Lin.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tadic shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Tadic showed some decent athleticism there. Tadic is pressing down on Lin's thigh, looking to free his foot. Lin is holding on for now. Lin is refusing to be controlled, as Tadic sits in half guard. Tadic prevents Lin from improving his position. Lin tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Tadic has advanced to mount. Uh oh. Tadic is working for a guillotine from mount but Lin frees his head quite easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Tadic trying to control but Lin is having none of it. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Tadic avoids the attempt from Lin to control. Lin is looking to improve his position but Tadic isn't that keen on the idea. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tadija Tadic dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Tadic looks for a takedown but Lin sprawls well. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Tadic crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Lin - the referee stops the clock and Tadic gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Lin. Tadic manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. An inside leg kick lands from Lin. Lin throws a body shot but no joy. Tadic shoots in but no luck this time. Lin fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
It looks like Tadija Tadic has been cut. Lin throws a left and a right that both miss
and Tadic counters with a nice double leg into side control. Lin won't be happy with that. Lin misses with a strike from the bottom. Lin is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Tadic off and has taken his back! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Lin is looking for the choke from the back position but Tadic is controlling his hands well. Tadic rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tadic looking for submissions off his back. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Tadic looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Lin looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Tadic is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at LOD: Contenders, so we'll see if he gets out of it. Lin is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Lin uses his free foot to push down on Tadic's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Tadic.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Lin looking to control but Tadic is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Tadic sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Lin wants to work for an arm triangle but Tadic is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Tadic regains full guard. Nicely done. Tadic working for a triangle but Lin defends it easily.
Lin passes into half guard. Lin throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Lin is looking to advance position but Tadic won't allow it. Lin is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Ping Lin showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Tadija Tadic's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Tadic darts in looking for a takedown but Lin gets double underhooks and turns Tadic into the cage. A kick lands to the mid section there for Lin. Lin lands a jab to Tadic's midsection. Lin lands with a thumping leg kick.
Lin ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Tadic moves away. Tadic appears to be looking for a counter takedown. A head kick misses from Lin. Horrible takedown attempt by Tadic or perhaps it was just good defense by Lin, which made it look bad. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tadic dives in and grabs Lin's left leg, looking for a takedown. Lin pushes down on Tadic's head and hops out. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tadija Tadic. That's going to take a lot out of him. Lin pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Lin goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Lin throws a head kick that half lands.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tadic checks a low kick from Lin. Lin throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Lin misses with an uppercut. Tadic shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Lin sprawls well. Lin wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Tadic gets slowly back to his feet. Lin misses with an attempted mid kick.
Lin throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Lin misses with a looping right. Tadic drops down looking for a counter takedown but Lin sprawls and moves away. Lin fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Tadic moves out of range of the body kick from Lin.
Tadic misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Lin looks like he wanted to counter with a high kick but didn't throw it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lin throws a mid kick that lands with a slap. Tadic displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Lin throws out the jab. Tadic avoids the head kick by Lin.

and Tadic counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Lin! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Lin sneaks back into half guard. Tadic is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Tadic frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lin tries to lock up and control but Tadic gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Lin bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Tadic throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Lin escapes and throws Tadic's legs to the side, diving into side control! Tadic is trying to improve his position. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Tadic struggling a bit here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Tadic is trying to get back to half guard. Lin tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Tadic is looking to regain half guard here but Lin keeps moving and retains side control. Lin trying to control the position but Tadic is working away. Lin is trying to get an arm triangle but Tadic is defending well. Tadic regains half guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Ping Lin comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Lin has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
