The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brandao bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Tibbs takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
We've been told by Brandao's head coaches at Furia Top Team that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Brandao tries to clinch there but Tibbs circles away.
Tibbs feints the counter takedown.
Tibbs takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Brandao scores with a crisp jab that stopped Tibbs in his tracks.
A right-left combo lands from Brandao.

It looks like Tony Tibbs has been cut.
Brandao lands a really nice looking cross but Tibbs seems unphased.
Tibbs is still on wobbly legs! Can Brandao finish him?
Diego Brandao seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Brandao goes for a small jab and connects. Now Brandao goes in closer pressing the issue. Left hook, right straight! Tibbs stumbles back but Brandao runs in with a huge uppercut knocking Tibbs to the ground! What a finish! You have to wonder if Tibbs will ever be the same after a knockout like that.
