Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Karate Kid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mats S�derlund (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kid comes to the cage accompanied by Kung Fu Fighting. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
19 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Karate Kid!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
17 - 9 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mats S�derlund!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Phil Schofield and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
S�derlund misses with an attempted mid kick.
S�derlund misses with a straight left.
S�derlund has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Kid misses with a wild body shot.
Kid looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Kid.
S�derlund appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick.
Jab, jab by Kid - just one landing.
Kid takes one to the chin there.
Kid misses with a straight left.
Kid lands with a thumping leg kick.
Kid throws a shot to the body.
Mats S�derlund seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kid tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but S�derlund was well out of range. Poor timing from Kid.
S�derlund moves out of range of the body kick.
Kid slips a jab from S�derlund.
Kid feints and then cracks S�derlund's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow S�derlund down.
S�derlund lands with an uppercut that bounces Kid off the cage and back into range.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
S�derlund stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Kid.
S�derlund throws a body kick that misses.
Kid connects with a solid leg kick.
Kid throws a hook to the side of S�derlund's head but S�derlund sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Kid lands a nice looking body shot.
Kid chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Kid fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt S�derlund.
Kid throws a nice looking combination but S�derlund bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from S�derlund lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Kid has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Kid and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
S�derlund throws a shot from downtown. Kid moves away and avoids it.
S�derlund throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
S�derlund misses with a straight right.
Kid scores with a hook to the body. S�derlund takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
S�derlund uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Kid.
Kid slips under a jab.
S�derlund bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Kid's head.
Kid blocks a jab.
A punch lands to the side of Kid 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Kid is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
S�derlund pounces like a tiger and cracks Kid with a vicious hook! Kid is down but not out! S�derlund follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Mats S�derlund!
Our winner, Mats S�derlund, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
