Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dylan McKay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Juan Koski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McKay's entrance music is Land Down Under. A fine choice. Koski has chosen Accept - Head Over Heels as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Dylan McKay has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
13 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Dylan McKay! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Juan Koski! The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Paul Tew and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Koski misses with a leg kick and McKay counters with a body kick that stops Koski in his tracks momentarily. Koski tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Jab by Koski. Crunch! Koski slams his shin into McKay's torso. Koski avoids the body shot from McKay.
Koski uses good head movement to avoid the hook from McKay. McKay waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Koski. Koski misses with a takedown attempt - McKay sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. McKay takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
McKay wants to slow Koski down by chopping away at his legs. Koski connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. McKay lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

We've been informed that Koski has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! McKay misses with an uppercut. McKay thows a left - swing and a miss!

Koski on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Koski throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. McKay scores with a one two! Koski had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. McKay slips a jab from Koski. An inside leg kick lands from Koski. Koski throws a sloppy head kick and McKay moves out of range easily. McKay throws a solid leg kick but Koski takes the impact on his shin and smiles at McKay. McKay misses with a straight right. McKay fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Koski looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Good leg kick by McKay there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. McKay misses with a hook. Koski ducked under it nicely. McKay has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Cutthroat in the buildup to the fight. Koski dips down and scores with a jab to the body. McKay getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Koski fails to land the takedown.

Koski is looking to land body kicks. A little feinted left hand from McKay on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Koski throws a sloppy head kick and McKay moves out of range easily. McKay jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit. Koski looks to land a left hand but McKay moved out of range nicely. McKay swings and misses with a hook to the body.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Koski crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from McKay - the referee stops the clock and Koski gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says McKay. Koski manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Koski moves out of range of the strikes. Decent striking displayed by McKay there. Koski throws a lazy uppercut
and McKay counters with a nice low kick that buckles Koski's knee momentarily. Koski attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Koski throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Koski cracks McKay with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Koski misses with a straight right. McKay is looking to counter punch. A slow jab from Koski misses its intended target. A swing and a miss from Koski. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by McKay.
Nice uppercut lands for Koski. That snapped McKay's head back.
McKay misses with a low kick. A nice inside leg kick there by Koski. That's going to slow McKay down. Koski steps to the side to avoid the strikes from McKay. McKay blocks a leg kick. McKay seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. McKay lands with a right hand. McKay drops Koski with a beautiful combination! Koski stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - McKay is looking for the KO!

That has opened up Juan Koski's cut even more. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. A swing and a miss from Koski. Koski is still on wobbly legs! Can McKay finish him? Koski throws a low kick, looking for McKay's leg but McKay calmly moves out of range. Koski missing with a left hand there. McKay was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Koski seems to have recovered his senses. Koski lands with a straight right. McKay didn't see that one coming. McKay tries to land a front kick but Koski steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Koski throws a solid leg kick but McKay takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Koski. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Koski lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and McKay has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from McKay and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Koski throws a nice inside leg kick. A jab from Koski misses. Koski throws a wild body kick that McKay sees coming a mile off. McKay turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. McKay listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Koski throws a leg kick but McKay moved away. McKay throws a body shot but no joy. Koski throws a right hand that McKay ducks under and follows up with a left that McKay also avoids with ease. Koski throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around McKay's waist but McKay gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Koski off to one side. Dylan McKay has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Juan Koski. Koski throws a low kick but McKay avoids it. No luck for Koski with that takedown attempt. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Koski avoids the body shot from McKay.

Dylan McKay is winning the standup battle so far. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. McKay on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Koski. Koski obviously looking to wear him down.

Juan Koski's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters. McKay slips under a jab from Koski. Koski throws a jab but it's blocked by McKay. McKay throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. And Koski tries to counter it with a takedown but McKay pushes his down on his head and steps out. Koski will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
