The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Gregory Folan and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maximus misses with a looping left.
A quick step to the side and Johnson tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Johnson scores with a hook.
Johnson connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Maximus's hands.
Johnson fails in his attempt to clinch.
Johnson sizes up Maximus with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Maximus lands with an uppercut that bounces Johnson off the cage and back into range.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Johnson is defended easily by Maximus.
Maximus closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
A slow jab from Maximus misses its intended target.
Johnson throws a jab but it's blocked by Maximus.
Johnson takes a swing at Maximus's ribcage but misses.
Johnson closes the distance and clinches.
Maximus looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Maximus wants to break the clinch but can't.
Johnson scores with a nice hook to the head.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Johnson throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Johnson is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Maximus is defending well for now.

Maximus tries to circle away but Johnson has him pinned against the cage.
Johnson lands on the inside with an uppercut.
A frustrated look appears on Maximus's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Maximus is trying to force a seperation but Johnson has the dominant position.
Johnson scores with a nice hook to the head.

Johnson manages to break the clinch.
Maximus misses the shot to the body.
Johnson has taken the fight to the clinch.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Johnson creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Maximus blocks a body shot from Johnson.
Maximus breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Marcus Megnus Maximus is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Johnson is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Johnson misses with a few strikes there.
Johnson lands a jab to Maximus's midsection.

Johnson creates a bit of distance and cracks Maximus with a massive left hook! Maximus crumples out of camera shot, completely unconscious! He's been Nelmarked! Johnson stares at him for a moment then struts over to his corner, victorious.

Chubby Johnson really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Kemists ↑ 5x160Q logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
