Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Taza Boyd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lip Ton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lip Ton told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Dillan Fox and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boyd misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Ton is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
Ton fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Boyd avoids it really well and circles away.
Boyd seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Ton shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Boyd as he jumps to the side.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Ton is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Boyd is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Boyd tries to control the position but he's not in luck - Ton easily slips into full mount!
Ton has control of Boyd's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Boyd regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Boyd is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
Ton looking to secure an arm triangle but Boyd defends it well.
Boyd wants to hold on but Ton pushes him away.

Ton with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Ton has hold of Boyd's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Boyd manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

You get the feeling that Boyd really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Ton looking for a guillotine from mount but Boyd is having none of it.
Ton looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
Boyd looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Ton wants to finish this one by submission but Boyd is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Ton.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ton is working close to his opponent, looking to work a submission by the looks of things. Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight! Will he tap? YES, he's tapped! Impressive submission by Ton!
