Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bruno Brock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Janu Izi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bruno Brock!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Janu Izi!
The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Jorge Garcia and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Izi fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Brock, pushing him back against the cage.
Brock has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Izi has eaten all the pies!
Brock tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Izi's elbow.
Izi has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Brock regains guard immediately.
Brock has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Izi has passed into side control.
Brock manages to work his way to half guard, despite Izi's best efforts.
Brock is trying to control but can't.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Brock wants to get back to full guard.
Brock is working hard here to advance position.

Brock makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Brock.
Izi must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Brock is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Brock is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Izi defends well.
Izi's corner is telling him to maintain position.

Izi trying to control but Brock is working from the bottom.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Brock not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Izi stays in close to Brock's body and controls the position.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Brock has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Brock there as he acknowledges the shot.
It looks like Bruno Brock has been cut.
Izi drives through with a takedown into guard.
Izi really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Brock. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Brock wants to sweep but no luck.
Brock will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Izi engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.

Izi is looking to stand up but Brock won't let him.
Brock tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Izi sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Brock's guard.
Brock trying to hold on to Izi's head to control him but Izi postures up.
Brock is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Izi's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Izi's back!
Izi trying to get back to his feet but Brock is in full control for now.

Brock throwing strikes and Izi squirms under the pressure, ending up mounted.
Izi is wriggling around trying to escape.
Izi tries to hold on but Brock pushes him away.
Brock lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Brock throwing strikes here but Izi is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Brock throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Izi tries to hold on but Brock pushes him away.
Brock breaks from Izi's wrist control and lands an elbow.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Janu Izi will probably get the nod.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Brock on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Izi shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Brock's guard.
Brock controls Izi momentarily but Izi frees himself.
Brock wants to get back to his feet but Izi is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Izi is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Izi got a little sloppy there for a moment and Brock has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Izi has managed to get both his arms back between Brock's legs - danger averted.

Brock is looking for a triangle but Izi pushes his legs off easily.
Izi won't allow Brock to get back to his feet.
Brock is looking to sweep but instead, Izi has passed into half guard.
Izi is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Izi takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Izi wants to take a breather but Brock is having none of it.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Izi is pressing down on Brock's thigh, looking to free his foot. Brock is holding on for now.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Izi misses with a jab, cross combination.
Izi misses with a low kick.
A quick step to the side and Brock tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
No luck for Brock with that takedown attempt.
Izi pushes Brock up against the cage in a clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Izi pulls guard effortlessly.
Izi wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Brock is now in half guard.
Izi trying to control from the bottom.
Brock looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Brock is thwarting Izi's attempts to control the position.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Izi is looking to improve his position.
Brock thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Janu Izi showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

That's time! Brock's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Izi circles away from the clinch attempt.
A slapping leg kick lands for Izi.
Janu Izi is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Izi has managed to clinch.
Brock wants to break free but Izi has control.
Brock wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Izi ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Izi no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Brock content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Izi has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Izi has momentary wrist control but Brock slips an elbow through the middle.

Brock is in close to Izi's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Izi takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Brock throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Izi works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Brock postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.

Brock loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Izi is trying to stand back up but Brock is controlling him
The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Izi. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.
Nice strikes from Brock there.

Brock has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Izi is striking off his back. Brock thinks nothing of it though and passes easily into half guard.
Izi tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Brock has advanced to mount. Uh oh.
Izi is trying desperately to improve position.

Izi wants to hold on but Brock pushes him away.
Brock lands a big elbow.
Izi has given up his back. Will we see Brock going for some submissions?
Brock sinks in the hooks and is looking for the choke. He's got it! Izi taps out!
