Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Terlajak Laris!
The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Laris is looking to clinch but Jampid is avoiding it.
Laris tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Jampid paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Jampid appears to be looking for a big counter.
Both fighters circling a little - Jampid finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
The fight stays on the outside here - Laris looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Terlajak Laris seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Jampid throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Laris was covering up waiting for the punch and Jampid finishes the takedown easily into guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Laris wants to get back to his feet but Jampid is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Laris is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Jampid throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Laris works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Jampid accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Jampid might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Jampid is in close to Laris's body, working some short punches and elbows.

Laris is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Jampid has his hands clasped together but Laris extends and breaks Jampid's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Laris.
