Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jacob Cabrera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Danger Duck (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Danger Duck is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jacob Cabrera! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Danger Duck! The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Anthony Taglia and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A shot to the liver by Duck. Beautiful body shot. Duck looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Cabrera wants to get back to his feet.
Duck wants to take a breather but Cabrera is having none of it. Duck prevents Cabrera from standing back up.
Cabrera wants to stand back up but Duck manages to pass into side control.
Cabrera is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Cabrera manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Cabrera is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Duck's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Duck's back! Cabrera is not going to allow Duck to sit and survive in this position. I really don't envy Duck right now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Duck breaks Cabrera's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Duck won't allow Cabrera to get back to his feet. Cabrera keeping moving, preventing Duck from controlling successfully. Cabrera is looking to sweep but instead, Duck has passed into half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Duck looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Duck slows the pace down in half guard. Duck wants to take a breather but Cabrera is having none of it. Cabrera tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Duck darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Cabrera tries to kick Duck off in order to stand up. Duck Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control. Cabrera misses with an elbow from the bottom. Duck is trying to get an arm triangle but Cabrera is defending well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Cabrera is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Cabrera tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops. Cabrera preventing the rear naked choke attempt from Duck. Cabrera really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Duck looking for the choke but no joy. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Danger Duck dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Duck scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Cabrera is trying to escape back to his feet but Duck uses the scramble to pass into side control.
Duck creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Cabrera sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Duck in side control, throwing shots but Cabrera defends. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Cabrera is not content to let Duck control the position. Duck is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Cabrera is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Duck avoids the strikes from the bottom by Cabrera.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cabrera is trying to get back to his feet. Cabrera tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck. Cabrera keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Cabrera is trying to stand. Cabrera wants to hold on but Duck pushes him away. Cabrera tries to buck Duck off but he can't manage it. Cabrera trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cabrera is flailing around like a fish out of water, trying to land strikes. Duck can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Cabrera is looking to escape. Duck thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. Cabrera tries to lock up and control but Duck gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Danger Duck has got the better of the ground game so far. Duck looking to control but Cabrera is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Cabrera really trying hard to get back to half guard here.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Duck trying to control but Cabrera is having none of it. Cabrera sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Cabrera tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Duck manages to move to mount!
Duck looking for a guillotine from mount but Cabrera is having none of it. Cabrera is trying to stand up. Duck throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
That's four minutes gone in the round. You get the feeling that Cabrera really doesn't like being in this position too much.

Duck throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Cabrera because Duck loaded up on that one. Cabrera is working to get back to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. You get the feeling that Cabrera really doesn't like being in this position too much.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Duck unloads with some shots from mount but Cabrera bucks and avoids them well.
Duck can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Cabrera is looking to escape. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Danger Duck showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Duck moves into the clinch. Cabrera tries to score a body lock takedown but Duck shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Cabrera changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Duck fights it off and pushes away nicely.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Cabrera closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Duck works his way to full guard. Good work. Duck is trying to control the position but Cabrera postures up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Duck looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Cabrera trying to control the position from guard on top but Duck is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Duck seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Cabrera has gone for a leg lock! Duck slips out almost immediately though and dives into Cabrera's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Cabrera is looking to stand up but Duck isn't so interested in that idea. Duck stands up and waves to Cabrera to follow him. Duck throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Cabrera tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Duck is in Cabrera's guard. Duck gets to his feet. Cabrera looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Cabrera takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Cabrera gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cabrera preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Duck stops Cabrera from standing up. Duck loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Cabrera keeping moving, preventing Duck from controlling successfully. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Duck doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Duck manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Duck looking to pass the guard. Cabrera is looking to stand up but Duck isn't so interested in that idea. Duck sitting in guard here, content to control. Duck wanted to stand there but Cabrera had control of the position.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Danger Duck seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Duck shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
And that's the end of the fight! Danger Duck comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Duck has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
