It looked like Smith was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Gomi.

Gomi throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Smith goes for a small jab and connects. Now Smith goes in closer pressing the issue. Left hook, right straight! Gomi stumbles back but Smith runs in with a huge uppercut knocking Gomi to the ground! What a finish! You have to wonder if Gomi will ever be the same after a knockout like that.
