Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jan Banan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David haye (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Banan shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts haye as he jumps to the side.

Banan bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

and Banan counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in haye's guard now.

Banan takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Banan seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down haye for as long as he can get away with.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
haye might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Banan kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
