Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Clement Wright (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and William Turn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). William Turn has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Clement Wright's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Clement Wright!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, William Turn!
The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Jeff Smith and Chris Saunders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Turn.
Turn misses with a jab to the body

and Wright counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Wright postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Turn can do anything to dispel that myth.
Turn has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Wright has passed into side control.
Wright trying to control the action but Turn is working from the bottom.
Turn takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Turn tries to improve position but can't.
Turn is not content to let Wright control the position.

Wright looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Turn can't do much from the bottom here.
Turn tries to strike from the bottom but misses.
Turn seems a little lost for a moment, as Wright dominates the positioning.
Turn tries to control the position but he's not in luck - Wright easily slips into full mount!
Wright looking to control but Turn is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Turn has given up his back here.
Wright could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Wright missing with punches from the back.
Turn is keeping busy.
Turn tries to escape but Wright has the hooks in and won't let him break free.
Turn wants to control his opponent's hands but Wright gets his hands free.
Wright misses with an elbow to the head.
Wright slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Wright punches the canvas rather than the man.

Wright looking to break Turn's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Turn remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Wright will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!
Turn looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Wright looking for the choke from the back.
Wright tries to keep control of the position but Turn is staying busy.

Wright has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Turn has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Wright punches the canvas rather than the man.
Turn is really stuck here.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Wright gets his hands free as Turn looks to control.
So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.
Turn wants to escape the position.
Will Wright go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?
Turn trying to control but not successfully.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Wright has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Turn is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Wright gets his way!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Clement Wright dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.



Oooh a lovely combination from Turn sends Wright down but not out. Turn dives into side control looking to finish.


It looks like Clement Wright has been cut.
Turn landing strikes.
Wright sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Turn lands strikes from half guard.


Wright is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Turn lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Oh Wright is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Wright is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Turn can do to turn this around?
Turn is keen to just control but Wright is a slippery customer.
Turn controlling the action here.
Turn lands a big elbow - Wright is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Turn!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:51 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). William Turn!
