Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Harry Blunder (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Agustin Trujillo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blunder avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
No joy there for Blunder, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Blunder has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Trujillo.
Blunder throws a head kick that misses.
Trujillo is looking to slow Blunder down with leg kicks.
Blunder tries to close the distance and clinch up but Trujillo swats him away and circles back towards the center.
A jab from Trujillo finds it's way through Blunder's defenses.
Trujillo explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.

Our sources have told us that Blunder has been working on his knees in the buildup to the fight.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Trujillo is looking to control Blunder's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Trujillo avoid being mounted?
Blunder is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Blunder is keen to just control but Trujillo is a slippery customer.

and Trujillo counters with a nice low kick that buckles Blunder's knee momentarily.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Trujillo in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.

Blunder's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Trujillo throws a punch but it's blocked by Blunder.
Blunder ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Blunder no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

My spies in DJs Locker inform me that Trujillo has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!
