Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Huey Randolph!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Robert Whitehead!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Sam Margolis and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Whitehead forces Randolph back against the cage and clinches.
Whitehead's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Oooooh!!! Whitehead has knocked Randolph down with a huge combo! Whitehead steps away and waves a wobbly Randolph back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Randolph is rocked!
It looks like Huey Randolph has been cut.
Whitehead rushes Randolph and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Oh Randolph is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Randolph could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Whitehead tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Randolph blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Randolph.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Whitehead is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Randolph is keeping busy.
Whitehead fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Randolph jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Whitehead walks away with a smile on his face. Randolph gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Whitehead closes the distance and lands a crisp combination that knocks Randolph out cold! Randolph corner are devastated, head in hands behind our commentary position. Poor guys.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Robert Whitehead!
