Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Honza Kucera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Junior Jawo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
14 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Honza Kucera! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Junior Jawo! The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Roger Salmon and Colin Fray.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kucera looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Jawo changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Kucera looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Kucera is trying to get back to half guard. Kucera can't do much from the bottom here. Kucera is trying to improve his position. Jawo tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Jawo thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jawo wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Kucera, who protects the arm well. Kucera is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Jawo off and has taken his back!
That's one minute gone in the round. Jawo just trying to survive but Kucera is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish. Kucera tightening his grip on Jawo, looking for the choke. Kucera is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Jawo is defending well though. Kucera let's go of the attempt for now. Kucera controlling well, preventing Jawo from escaping the position.
Kucera avoiding Jawo 's attempts to control his hands. Kucera is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Jawo defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined. Jawo is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Kucera off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted. Kucera has his opponent's back and is working for the choke. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kucera avoiding Jawo 's attempts to control his hands. I really don't envy Jawo right now.
Jawo tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Jawo tries to hold on but Kucera postures up. Jawo is trying desperately to improve position. Kucera looking for a guillotine from mount but Jawo is having none of it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jawo really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Kucera trying to control but he's not successful this time. Kucera takes Jawo's back. Jawo tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Jawo is working to get back to half guard.
Kucera takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Jawo has given up his back.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kucera controlling well, preventing Jawo from escaping the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jawo trying to control the position but Kucera manages to sink in the hooks. Jawo tries to escape the position.
Jawo is trying to roll into a better position but Kucera has get a rear naked choke and Jawo is forced to tap out! This one is allllll over!
