Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Master Keya! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Claude Renou! The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Roger Salmon and Josh West.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Keya forces Renou back against the cage and clinches. Keya blocks a body shot from Renou. Keya pushes Renou back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Keya just leaning against Renou, taking a breather. Keya pushes Renou back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. Keya lands an uppercut. Renou misses with a punch on the inside.
Keya avoids a wild elbow strike from Renou. Keya works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Renou. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A frustrated look appears on Renou's face as he tries to break the clinch. Keya stalls. Keya throws a head punch that misses. Keya lands with a short head shot on the inside. Renou lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Keya backwards.
That's one minute gone in the round. Keya lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Renou backwards. Renou looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Renou blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Keya gets through Renou's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Keya lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Keya softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
Renou is rocked! Renou wants to get back to striking at distance but Keya won't allow it.
Renou is still on wobbly legs! Can Keya finish him? Renou trying to stall but Keya improves his position.
Keya misses with a short punch on the inside. A head punch blocked on the inside by Renou. Renou is trying to break the clinch but Keya is controlling him. Keya has a couple of punches blocked by Renou.

Keya misses with a punch on the inside.
Renou blocks an uppercut.
Renou seems to have recovered his senses. Keya prevents Renou from breaking the clinch. Renou wants to break the clinch but can't.
Come on Keya - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Keya lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Renou to his knees! Keya keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Master Keya! Master Keya spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
