Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Brendon Payne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Edison Ethier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Edison Ethier will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Brendon Payne!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Edison Ethier !
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Daniel Blasius and Radbod Blank.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Payne shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Ethier sprawls well. Ethier wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Payne gets slowly back to his feet.

Payne seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Payne changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Ethier tries to avoid it but Payne manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Ethier to the ground. Ethier escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Ethier is on top in guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Brendon Payne will probably get the nod.
