Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hazni Ali (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tonothan Kuhula (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kuhula has chosen Native Drums from the South Pacific as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

27 - 20 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Hazni Ali! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tonothan Kuhula! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, George Francis and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kuhula throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Kuhula looks to land a combination but Ali avoids it well. Kuhula misses the body punch and Ali counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Kuhula wants to stand up but Ali is controlling him. Ali throws a big elbow that misses. Ali working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Ali trying to control but Kuhula is working from the bottom. Ali throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Kuhula works some decent striking defense from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kuhula not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Ali got a little sloppy there for a moment and Kuhula has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Ali has managed to get both his arms back between Kuhula's legs - danger averted. Ali working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Kuhula's head. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Kuhula can do anything to dispel that myth. Ali prevents Kuhula from getting back to his feet.

Kuhula wants to get back to his feet but Ali is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Ali wants to control from the top but Kuhula keeps moving. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Kuhula is looking to stand up but Ali isn't so interested in that idea.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Kuhula dips to his left and cracks Ali with an uppercut! Kuhula walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Kuhula throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Ali looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Kuhula darts in looking for a takedown but Ali gets double underhooks and turns Kuhula into the cage. Kuhula tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Ali was well out of range. Poor timing from Kuhula. Ali throws a series of punches but Kuhula avoids them all with ease. Kuhula throws a lazy right hand but Ali sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. A looping hook to the body misses from Kuhula. Ali does a little dance to reset his feet. Ali drops his hands momentarily and Kuhula takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Kuhula misses with an uppercut. Ali saw that one coming. Kuhula swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

and Ali counters with a lovely shot to the body. Kuhula throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

It looks like Tonothan Kuhula has been cut. Kuhula dodges the punch combination from Ali.

Ali walks into a jab. Ali misses with a wild body shot. Ali gets a takedown into half guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Kuhula is looking to control Ali's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Kuhula avoid being mounted?
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ali is taking a breather. Kuhula says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Kuhula tries to kick Ali off but Ali keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Kuhula is refusing to be controlled, as Ali sits in half guard. Kuhula missing with punches from the bottom.
Ali has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Kuhula actively working from the bottom here. Kuhula is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Ali pulls his head out easily.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Ali throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

A close round but Tonothan Kuhula will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Tonothan Kuhula's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Ali drives through with a takedown into Kuhula's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Ali trying to control but Kuhula is working from the bottom. Kuhula lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Ali keeping moving, preventing Kuhula from controlling successfully. Ali seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Ali is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Ali has a closed guard, preventing Kuhula from standing up. Ali manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Kuhula manages to get himself to full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Ali wants to control from the top but Kuhula keeps moving. Kuhula looking for a sweep. Not yet Kuhula, not yet. Kuhula will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Kuhula moves into full mount! Kuhula goes for an armbar but Ali turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Ali. Ali might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Ali scores with a decent looking elbow strike. The crowd are loving this. You can see the frustration on Kuhula's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Kuhula is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Ali is controlling him well. Kuhula struggling a bit here. Ali looks up at the clock and then as Kuhula takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Ali smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
And that's the end of the fight! Hazni Ali showed his dominance in that final round. I think Ali has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
