The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Russell moves into the clinch.

Russell jumps guard but Junger stands there with Russell around his waist. Russell gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Junger's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Junger dips a shoulder and cracks Russell with a mighty uppercut! Russell falls back against the cage and Junger unloads with a barrage of strikes! Russell is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Junger screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jak Junger!
Jak Junger spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
