Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Brittaney Gipson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Massa Kausi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Brittaney Gipson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Massa Kausi! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Frank Dennis and Stewart Dunkirk.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kausi throws a head kick that half lands.
Gipson circles away from the clinch attempt.
Gipson wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch. Gipson misses with a few strikes there.
Kausi is looking to clinch. Kausi wants to clinch. Gipson tries to bum rush Kausi with a series of wild strikes but Kausi uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Gipson takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

and Gipson counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Gipson gets to his feet - back to striking we go! Gipson swats away the attempt to clinch by Kausi. Nice shot lands for Kausi. Kausi keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Gipson takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Oh Gipson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Gipson keeps the fight on the outside. Kausi fails in his attempt to clinch. It looked like Gipson was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Gipson seems to have got his legs back now. Kausi wants to clinch
and Gipson counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Gipson stops Kausi from getting back to his feet.

 That's two minutes gone in the round. Kausi tries to clinch up but Gipson circles away and keeps his distance. Gipson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Kausi paws at him with a jab and circles away. Gipson pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Kausi moves into range and connects with a jab. Gipson avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Gipson accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gipson drops back looking for a leg! Kausi is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Kausi manages to kick Gipson off! Gipson jumps back into Kausi's guard. Gipson postures up.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Gipson sitting in guard, not really doing much. Kausi tries to land a sweep but no joy. Kausi is looking to stand up but Gipson isn't so interested in that idea. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.  The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Kausi looks to clinch and Gipson counters with a series of strikes. Kausi will be more careful next time no doubt.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Kausi closes the distance but Gipson moves to the side and Gipson counters with a left and a right that stings Kausi. Gipson keeps the fight on the outside.
Gipson fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Kausi, pushing him back against the cage. A short uppercut from Kausi. With the fighters up against the cage, Kausi throws an elbow but misses. Gipson takes an elbow to the forehead. Kausi looks to throw an elbow but misses. Kausi stalling in the clinch but Gipson improves position. Gipson manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

Brittaney Gipson dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Gipson is looking to land body kicks. Kausi moves in looking to clinch but Gipson pushes him off. Kausi clobbers Gipson with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Kausi is looking to clinch but Gipson is avoiding it.
Gipson is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Kausi is looking to clinch. Gipson keeps the fight on the outside. Kausi darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Gipson's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Kausi before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:31 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Massa Kausi!
