Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Xavier Jackson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Captian DeStruckto! The judges for this bout are , and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A swing and a miss from Jackson. DeStruckto tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Jackson shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts DeStruckto as he jumps to the side. DeStruckto closes this distance looking for a takedown but Jackson circles away. DeStruckto forces Jackson back against the cage and clinches. Jackson breaks from the clinch.
DeStruckto moves into range and clinches up with Jackson. Jackson breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. DeStruckto gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily enabling Jackson to counter with a crisp jab. Jackson looks to land a left hand but DeStruckto moved out of range nicely. Jackson gets a clinch. DeStruckto tries to score a body lock takedown but Jackson shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Xavier Jackson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Captian DeStruckto. Jackson can't break the clinch.
DeStruckto tries to break the clinch but Jackson is controlling the position. DeStruckto drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Jackson gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Jackson turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! Jackson working away. Jackson decides to stand up, so the ref orders DeStruckto to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. DeStruckto moves away from the strike by Jackson. Jackson throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. DeStruckto misses with an uppercut. Jackson saw that one coming. DeStruckto is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Jackson feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Jackson decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on DeStruckto, up you get! Jackson tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Jackson is breathing heavily. Jackson lands a head shot.
DeStruckto is rocked! Jackson lands an uppercut, right on the button! DeStruckto tumbles backwards into the cage, staring vacantly into space! He's got no idea where he is, who he is or what day it is... Poor guy.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Xavier Jackson!
