Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pepper closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Strikes did well to prevent Pepper getting side control.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Pepper lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Strikes has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Strikes and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Strikes shoots in looking for a takedown. Pepper tries to sprawl out of it but Strikes keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Pepper manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
