Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bobby Tate (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carlos Farofa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Carlos Farofa will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Farofa misses with a wild combination.
Tate is looking to counter punch.
Tate lands a jab-cross combination.

Tate shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Farofa is trying to defend but Tate finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Tate is looking to advance position but Farofa won't allow it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Farofa is looking to escape.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tate is trying to control the action in half guard but Farofa is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Tate is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.

Tate is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Farofa doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Tate.

Tate frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Tate swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!
