12 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Israel Kamakawiwo Ole! The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Dillan Fox and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Good standup being displayed there by Kamakawiwo Ole as he connects with a hook. Butcher misses with a looping right. Kamakawiwo Ole throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Kamakawiwo Ole shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Kamakawiwo Ole is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Butcher is just riding it out for now. Kamakawiwo Ole eventually gives up the hold. Butcher is doing well to control the position and prevent Kamakawiwo Ole from advancing to side control. Kamakawiwo Ole wants to take a breather but Butcher is having none of it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Butcher wants to control but Kamakawiwo Ole is keeping busy.
Butcher has his hands clasped together around Kamakawiwo Ole's back. He's all about the action. Butcher is trying to control but can't.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kamakawiwo Ole seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Butcher is doing well to control the position and prevent Kamakawiwo Ole from advancing to side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Butcher is trying to control but can't.
Butcher won't allow Kamakawiwo Ole to pass to mount. Butcher is trying to maintain the position but Kamakawiwo Ole is very close to passing his half guard. Kamakawiwo Ole wants to free his trapped foot but Butcher is holding on for dear life with his legs. Butcher wants to improve his position but Kamakawiwo Ole is controlling well.

Butcher trying his best to control but Kamakawiwo Ole has mounted him. My spies in Cutthroat inform me that Kamakawiwo Ole has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends! Kamakawiwo Ole fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
