Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Adam Ash (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Firnanda Talha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 8 - 1, fighting out of New York, Adam Ash!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 22 - 0, fighting out of New York, Firnanda Talha!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, William Peck and Yves DeLean.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ash tries to close the distance and clinch but Talha swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Talha moves into range and connects with a jab.
Talha has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Ash finds it's way round the side to connect with Talha's head.
Ash connects with a leg kick. Talha looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Talha throws out a powerful jab.
Adam Ash seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Talha tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Ash was well out of range. Poor timing from Talha.
Ash looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Talha ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Ash moves away.
Ash throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Ash misses with an uppercut.
Talha's coach down at The Sweat Lodge was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Talha's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

and Talha counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Ash!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Talha is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Ash has escaped the position, nice work there.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Ash is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Ash wants to control but Talha is keeping busy.

Ash is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Talha scores with a couple of nice shots.
Talha has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Ash is holding on to half guard well.
Ash moves into full guard.
Talha postures up.
Talha stands up over Ash, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Ash wants to sweep but no luck.
Ash bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Talha's guard.

Ash is looking for a sweep. Talha is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Ash avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Talha.

Talha passes into half guard.
Talha looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Ash missing with punches from the bottom.
Talha prevents Ash from standing back up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.



Talha bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Ash tries to buck Talha off but Talha is having none of it.

It looks like Adam Ash has been cut.
Talha working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ash tries to bench press Talha off him but Talha keeps the position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ash wants to control but Talha postures up.

Ash is working to avoid the ground and pound but Talha connects with a decent elbow.

Ash manages to work his way to half guard, despite Talha's best efforts.
Ash regains full guard. Nicely done.

Talha is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Ash had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Talha defends it easily.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Talha loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Ash is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Talha passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Talha tries to advance to mount but can't.
Talha works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.

Ash is trying to get back to half guard.
Ash wants to control but Talha postures up.
Ash throws a couple of punches but he's in a bad position and they don't land.
Talha working the ground and pound.
Ash takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.


Adam Ash's cut is getting worse.
Talha lands an elbow.
Oh Ash is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Talha scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Ash is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Talha can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Firnanda Talha!
Firnanda Talha seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
