Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Qwe Qwe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eric Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Qwe Qwe! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Eric Johnson! The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Bart Greer and Peter Branson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Johnson misses with a series of wild punches.
Qwe fails with the takedown and Johnson counters with a three punch combo that has Qwe backing up. Qwe nods at Johnson to acknowledge the strikes. Qwe really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Johnson throws a hook to the side of Qwe's head but Qwe sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. A jab from Johnson misses. Johnson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Qwe moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Johnson swinging wildly here.
Johnson has a takedown stuffed. Qwe misses with a straight right. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A combination from Qwe does no damage. Qwe shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Johnson as he avoids it easily. Johnson swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Qwe throws a quick counter kick to the body but Johnson avoids it. Johnson looks to land a combination. Qwe sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Johnson tries a head kick but it misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Qwe darts in looking for a takedown but Johnson gets double underhooks and turns Qwe into the cage. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Qwe Qwe. That's going to take a lot out of him. An inside leg kick from Johnson misses. Qwe is looking to counter punch. Qwe tries a head kick but it misses.
Qwe has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Qwe there as he acknowledges the shot. Johnson leaves Qwe with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Johnson lands with a thumping leg kick.
Johnson closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Qwe sneaks back into half guard. Qwe is looking for a sweep. Johnson is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Qwe is breathing heavily. Johnson scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Qwe works his way to full guard. Good work.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Johnson accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Johnson wants to get up but he can't break Qwe's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Johnson wants to stand and escape but instead Qwe has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Qwe won't allow Johnson to get back to his feet. Qwe decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Johnson, up you get! Johnson closes the distance and clinches up with Qwe, looking for a takedown. Johnson pushes Qwe against the cage but Qwe circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Johnson avoids the head kick by Qwe.
Johnson throws a combination. Qwe tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

Qwe misses with a takedown attempt - Johnson sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Johnson throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Qwe was covering up waiting for the punch and Johnson finishes the takedown easily into guard. Johnson is stalling in the full guard. Johnson trying to control but Qwe is working from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Johnson trying to stand up but can't free himself from Qwe's guard. Johnson trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Johnson lands a couple of elbows. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Johnson wants to stand but Qwe is controlling his posture from full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Johnson uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Qwe has time to react. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Eric Johnson dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Qwe goes for a double leg but Johnson avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Johnson continues to drive forward. Nice sprawl there from Qwe as Johnson shoots in. Johnson looks to land a body kick but Qwe moved away. Johnson stuffs the takedown attempt from Qwe. Qwe gets slowly back to his feet. A combination from Johnson does no damage. A left and a right from Johnson both land. Nice combination. No joy there for Johnson, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

That's one minute gone in the round. Sloppy strikes from Johnson. Those never looked like landing. Qwe Qwe is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Johnson gets tackled into the cage by Qwe. Qwe maintains the clinch. Johnson stops a takedown attempt from Qwe.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Qwe Qwe. That's going to take a lot out of him. Qwe throws a punch but it's blocked by Johnson. Qwe breaks the clinch.
Qwe looks for a takedown but Johnson sprawls well. Johnson feints a jab promting Qwe to slip. Johnson then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Qwe slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Johnson misses with a body kick. Johnson lands with a good body shot.

Johnson shoots in looking for a takedown but Qwe manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Johnson's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Johnson throws a nice looking combination but Qwe bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Qwe on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

Johnson looks to land a combination. Qwe sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Johnson looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Qwe with a lazy takedown attempt and Johnson counters with a series of strikes. Qwe will be more careful next time no doubt. Johnson throws a head kick that Qwe semi-blocks.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Qwe shoots for a double leg takedown but Johnson sprawls well. He's pushed Qwe's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Qwe tries to clinch there but Johnson circles away.
Qwe takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Qwe half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Johnson lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Qwe at a distance.
Johnson cracks a nice hook into Qwe's ribs. Johnson fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Qwe checks it well. Johnson shoots for a takedown but Qwe saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Johnson throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Johnson throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Qwe. Qwe dives in and grabs Johnson's left leg, looking for a takedown. Johnson pushes down on Qwe's head and hops out. Despite the aggression on Johnson's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. A bone on bone clash there as Qwe blocks the leg kick.
Qwe gets caught napping as Johnson dives in and scores a takedown. Qwe manages to retain guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Qwe is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Johnson tries to free his leg and advance position but Qwe is retaining full guard. Johnson throws a strike but Qwe rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Qwe trying to control but Johnson is working from the bottom. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Johnson can do anything to dispel that myth. Johnson can't keep his opponent in guard - Qwe advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Eric Johnson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Johnson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Qwe tries to avoid it but Johnson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Qwe to the ground. Qwe escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Qwe seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance. Johnson throws a right and a left that Qwe avoids nicely. Qwe drives through with a takedown into guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Qwe wants to control from the top but Johnson keeps moving.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Johnson is looking to stand up but Qwe isn't so interested in that idea. Johnson can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Qwe controls the pace. Qwe decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Johnson, up you get! Qwe dodges the punch combination from Johnson.

Qwe fails to land the takedown. As Qwe backs off Johnson throws a huge counter combo but Qwe manages to avoid it all. Johnson pivots, looking for a leg kick but Qwe is out of range and Johnson settles back down. Johnson closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Qwe moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Johnson postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Qwe looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Qwe looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
