Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jansen Grey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jonny Perry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Grey's entrance music is not alone. A fine choice. Jansen Grey looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jansen Grey!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jonny Perry !
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Bruno Hogan and Francis DeMontford.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grey doesn't manage to clinch there - Perry circles away.
Grey looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Perry shoots in looking for a takedown. Grey tries to sprawl out of it but Perry keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Grey manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Perry is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Grey could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Grey can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Perry controls the pace.

Perry drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Perry jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Perry drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Perry seems to have locked his on tight now - Grey screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Perry , as he picks up the win!

A pretty intense looking Jonny Perry took the opportunity post-fight to ask for a shot at the title.
