Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Stone Flail (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexandr Loshkarev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Flail kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Check Yourself Before You Wreck Yourself by Ice Cube. Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Stone Flail! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Alexandr Loshkarev! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Robert Twigg and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Flail scores with a spinning back kick! Flail throws a leg kick but Loshkarev checks it. Loshkarev rushes Flail and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Flail tries to land knees in the clinch but Loshkarev avoids the damage to the body. Loshkarev has Flail pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Flail manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Flail is leaning against Loshkarev and scores with a nice uppercut to the body. Flail missing with knees to the body.

Loshkarev tries to throw a body punch but Flail avoids it by throwing Loshkarev back against the cage. Loshkarev is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Flail gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Flail throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Loshkarev blocks it with crossed arms. Loshkarev can't get the takedown.
Stone Flail has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alexandr Loshkarev. Loshkarev tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Flail smiles and moves away.
Flail throws a mid kick that lands with a slap. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Loshkarev on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Flail throws a nice outside leg kick. Flail wants to land a leg kick but Loshkarev is out of range. Loshkarev looking to score a takedown here. Flail is defending well but Loshkarev drives through and ends up in Flail's guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Flail is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Flail looking to control.
Loshkarev drops back looking for a leg! Flail is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Flail manages to kick Loshkarev off! Loshkarev jumps back into Flail's guard. Flail not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Flail has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Loshkarev pushes down on Flail's leg and manages to get into half guard. Loshkarev is looking for a kimura but Flail is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Loshkarev to get the leverage. Loshkarev is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Flail wants to control but Loshkarev is keeping busy and won't allow it. Loshkarev seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Flail is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
