Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Sydney Lewis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Captain Carolean (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Carolean has chosen Visa Från Utanmyra as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carolean circles away from the clinch attempt.
Carolean catches Lewis with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Carolean misses with a few strikes there.
Carolean punishes Lewis's body with a nice straight punch.
Carolean lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Carolean.

and Lewis counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Lewis fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Lewis throws a sloppy head kick and Carolean moves out of range easily.
Captain Carolean seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Carolean fails to land with a series of punches.
Carolean throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Lewis.
Lewis tries to close the distance and clinch up but Carolean swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Carolean lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Carolean lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

Carolean throws a good cross that connects.

Carolean gets caught napping as Lewis dives in and scores a takedown. Carolean manages to retain guard.

Lewis wants to control from the top but Carolean keeps moving.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Carolean can do anything to dispel that myth.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Carolean is on top in guard.

Carolean stands and steps away. Lewis gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Carolean throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Lewis colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Carolean as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Lewis is left battered and dazed whilst Carolean and his camp cheer!
