Coming up we have a light heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Edward Nygma (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcus Brandao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nygma comes to the ring accompanied by Eazy E - Boys In Da Hood. Brandao is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by The White Stripes - Seven Nation Army. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
37 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Edward Nygma! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
22 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Marcus Brandao! The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Saam Ante and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nygma lets loose with a powerful body kick. Brandao will feel that in the morning. Brandao ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Brandao checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Nice defenses there by Nygma. Nygma seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. The crowd cheers as Nygma lands an impressive looking overhand right. Brandao doesn't seem phased though. Nygma listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Brandao throws a head kick that misses. Nygma lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Nygma gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Brandao!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Brandao scores with a crisp jab that stopped Nygma in his tracks. A jab from Nygma misses. Nygma throws a low kick but Brandao moves out of range easily. Nygma lands with a cross. Nygma throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Brandao on the side of the head.
It looks like Marcus Brandao has been cut. Brandao has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Brandao tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Nice straight punches there by Nygma. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Nygma.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brandao is looking to land body kicks. Nygma throws a big counter combination but Brandao scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Nygma throws a leg kick and Brandao counters with a leg kick. Nygma is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. Nygma throws out a loose jab but Brandao uses good head movement to avoid it. Nygma with a nice cross. Nygma throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Brandao sees it coming and avoids it easily. Nygma throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Brandao counters with a thumping low kick. Brandao is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Nygma. An attempted straight right counter from Nygma misses the target. Brandao throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body. Brandao throws an off balance right hand
and Nygma counters with a stiff right hand.
Brandao is rocked! BAM! Nygma delivers a spinning backfist that drops Brandao like a ragdoll! This is all oooooveeeer! He was out before he hit the ground!
