Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jake Kilmster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Stirling (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kilmster's entrance music is Maylene & The Sons of Disaster - Darkest of Kin. A fine choice. Jake Kilmster could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Jack Stirling's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
29 - 24 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Jake Kilmster! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
14 - 10 - 0, fighting out of London, Jack Stirling! The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Tarja Halkonen and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kilmster throws a leg kick but Stirling sees it coming and checks it nicely. Stirling appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick. Stirling throws a body punch but Kilmster moves out of range. Stirling listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Kilmster avoids the body shot from Stirling.
Stirling connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Kilmster looks to score with a jab to the body but Stirling is just out of range. A good leg kick by Stirling. Stirling throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Kilmster sees it coming and avoids it easily. Kilmster was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit. Kilmster on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Kilmster misses with a wild combination.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kilmster misses with a low kick. Stirling lands a really nice looking cross but Kilmster seems unphased.

Stirling throws a low kick but Kilmster avoids it. Kilmster swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Stirling ducks under a wild hook from Kilmster. Kilmster fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Stirling looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Kilmster ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Stirling moves away. Stirling replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Kilmster blocks it well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stirling fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kilmster manages to avoid it. Stirling dodges the punch combination from Kilmster.
Stirling throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Kilmster on the side of the head. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Stirling connects with a leg kick. Kilmster looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Kilmster throws a looping overhand right but Stirling ducks down to avoid it. Kilmster misses with a jab, cross combination.

It looked like Kilmster wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stirling throws a wild body kick that Kilmster sees coming a mile off. Stirling jabs Kilmster right on the nose. Kilmster blinks but takes it well. Stirling takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Stirling lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Kilmster has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Kilmster and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Stirling cracks the inside of Kilmster's front leg. Jack Stirling is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Stirling's corner calls for a 1-2. Stirling obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Kilmster takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Kilmster throws a right and a left that both miss. A head kick misses from Stirling. Stirling lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
A jab lands there for Kilmster. Stirling throws a low kick but it's checked well by Kilmster. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Stirling misses with a body shot
and Kilmster makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Stirling is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kilmster throws a jab when Stirling was well out of range. Jack Stirling seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kilmster throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Kilmster steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Stirling. A little feinted left hand from Kilmster on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Stirling has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Kilmster tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Stirling is able to avoid easily. Kilmster on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Stirling misses with a few strikes there.
Kilmster appears to be looking for a big counter. Stirling is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Kilmster had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté. Kilmster moves out of range of the strikes. Jack Stirling dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Kilmster might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far. Stirling cracks the inside of Kilmster's front leg.
That's one minute gone in the round. Some bone on bone action there as Kilmster checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Kilmster sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Stirling scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Nice jab there from Stirling. Kilmster is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. Kilmster closes the distance and lands a one-two. Kilmster throws a left and a right that both miss
and Stirling counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Kilmster throws a body shot but no joy. Jack Stirling seems to be getting the better of the standup. A slapping body kick lands there for Stirling. Stirling finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.

That's two minutes gone in the round. This has been an exciting period of action! A looping hook to the body misses from Stirling. Kilmster does a little dance to reset his feet. Kilmster ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Stirling thuds his right hand into Kilmster's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. A chopping leg kick lands by Stirling. Kilmster uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Stirling.

Kilmster is rocked! Kilmster is looking to wear down Stirling with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Kilmster fails to land with a series of punches.

and Kilmster counters with a left and a right that stings Stirling. Good leg kick by Stirling there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Kilmster will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Stirling misses with a straight right. Stirling feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Kilmster's calf. Stirling shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. An attempted straight right counter from Kilmster misses the target. No joy there for Kilmster, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Kilmster moves out of range of the strikes. This has been an exciting period of action! Kilmster throws the left hand but Stirling avoids the punch easily. Stirling's coach down at Albion MMA was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Stirling's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Kilmster uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Stirling. Stirling looks to land a right hand but Kilmster moved out of range. Kilmster gets cracked there but stands up to it.
A solid body kick from Stirling. Stirling throws out a leg kick but Kilmster moves out of range and Stirling only half commits. Kilmster takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Stirling throws a right and a left that Kilmster avoids nicely. Kilmster bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Stirling's head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jack Stirling showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!

Kilmster utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Stirling lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Stirling distracts Kilmster with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stirling with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Stirling must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Stirling postures up in Kilmster's guard and throws a big left but Kilmster blocks it. Kilmster keeping moving, preventing Stirling from controlling successfully. Kilmster looking to control.
Stirling trying to control the position from guard on top but Kilmster is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Stirling pushing down on Kilmster's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. The fighters are battling for position here. Kilmster manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Stirling postures up in Kilmster's guard and throws a big left but Kilmster blocks it. Stirling wants to control from the top but Kilmster keeps moving. Kilmster is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Stirling has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kilmster tries to pass the half guard into mount. Stirling knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Stirling is trying to maintain the position but Kilmster is very close to passing his half guard. Stirling regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Kilmster. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kilmster stopping the sweep attempt from Stirling. Jack Stirling is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kilmster is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Stirling preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Stirling keeping moving, preventing Kilmster from controlling successfully. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Stirling holds on and takes a little breather.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Jake Kilmster has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Stirling throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. Kilmster shoots in for a takedown but Stirling shows good takedown defense. Kilmster takes a swing at Stirling's ribcage but misses. Kilmster throws a body punch but Stirling moves out of range. Stirling looks like he wants to counter punch here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Stirling connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Kilmster shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Stirling's guard. Kilmster stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Stirling swivels though and keeps the full guard. Kilmster is working hard here to advance position. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Kilmster throwing strikes but missing. Stirling avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
And that's the end of the fight! Jake Kilmster showed his dominance in that final round. I think Stirling has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
