Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Daniel Bryan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kimbo Slice!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Frank Dennis and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slice scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Slice throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Bryan's head.
Slice looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Slice cracks the inside of Bryan's front leg.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Slice. Bryan shrugs it off though.
Slice lands a slapping body shot.
Slice plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Slice fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Bryan, pushing him back against the cage.
Bryan tries to work over Slice's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Slice breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Slice throws a quick inside leg kick.
Bryan is looking to clinch but Slice is avoiding it.

Slice rushes Bryan and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Slice jumps guard and drags Bryan to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Bryan slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Slice is looking to stand up but Bryan isn't so interested in that idea.
Bryan trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Slice wants to get back to his feet but Bryan is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Bryan gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Slice stuffs the takedown attempt from Bryan. Bryan gets slowly back to his feet.

Slice has managed to clinch.
Bryan wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Bryan really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Slice breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Bryan tries to keep at a distance but Slice has taken the fight into the clinch.
Slice slowing the pace effectively.

Slice escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Slice has managed to clinch.

Slice tightens his grip and picks Bryan up, before dumping him to the ground. Bryan manages to land in guard.
Bryan tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Slice has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Bryan is proving hard to escape from.
Slice wants to control from the top but Bryan keeps moving.
Bryan looking for a sweep. Not yet Bryan, not yet.
Slice in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Slice must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Slice closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Slice keeps the fight on the outside.
Slice avoids the head kick by Bryan.

Bryan gets tackled into the cage by Slice. Slice maintains the clinch.
Slice is trying to drag Bryan to the mat but Bryan just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Slice is trying to pull guard but Bryan has him pressed against the cage.
Slice's coach down at HARD WORK!! was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Slice's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Slice gets control of Bryan's arms and successfully pulls guard. Slice will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Slice is looking to stand up but Bryan isn't so interested in that idea.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Slice is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Bryan dives into side control.
Bryan lands some shots froms side control.

Bryan advances to mount.
Slice trying desperately to get to his feet.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Slice can do anything to dispel that myth.
Bryan trying to control but Slice is having none of it.
Slice really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bryan. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
You get the feeling that Slice really doesn't like being in this position too much.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kimbo Slice dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!



Slice moves into the clinch.
Bryan takes a knee right on the jaw!
Slice is working for takedown but Bryan is calmly controlling the position for now.
Bryan has had enough of the clinch but Slice keeps him there for the moment.

Slice breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
A combination from Slice does no damage.
Slice lands with a nice body kick.

Slice has managed to clinch.

Slice breaks the clinch.
Slice fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Slice keeps the fight on the outside.
As Bryan backs off Slice throws a huge counter combo but Bryan manages to avoid it all.
Kimbo Slice seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bryan shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Slice but Slice pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Bryan tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Slice defends well and Bryan ends up having to push Slice into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Slice looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.

Slice has managed to clinch.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Bryan trying to stall but Slice improves his position.
Slice has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Bryan after a bit of a struggle.

Slice is pushing Bryan up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Slice has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Bryan wants to stall.

Slice manages to break the clinch.
Slice throws a head kick that misses.

Slice has taken the fight to the clinch.
Bryan looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Bryan misses with a body punch.

Slice pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Slice moves into the clinch.

Slice is trying to trip Bryan. He has hold of a leg but Bryan is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Slice persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Slice throws a big right hand that misses.
Slice is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Bryan controls Slice momentarily but Slice frees himself.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Slice trying to control but Bryan is working from the bottom.
Bryan throwing short punches from the bottom.
Slice preventing the sweep.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Slice throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Kimbo Slice is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Slice works over Bryan's head and body with a nice combination.
Bryan goes for a double leg but Slice avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Slice continues to drive forward.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Daniel Bryan. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Slice.

Slice moves into range and clinches up with Bryan.
Slice is trying to drag Bryan to the mat but Bryan just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Slice gets underhooks to prevent Bryan's takedown attempt.
Bryan has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Slice breaks the clinch.
Bryan fails to land the takedown.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Bryan is defended easily by Slice.

Slice clinches up against the cage.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Slice breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Slice lands with a kick to the ribs.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Slice drops down looking for an ankle pick but Bryan pulls his leg out and moves away.
Kimbo Slice seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Slice breaks from the clinch.
Slice lands with a kick to the temple. Bryan shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

Slice forces Bryan back against the cage and clinches.

Slice breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kimbo Slice showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Slice moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Bryan rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Slice moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Slice connects with a jab.
Bryan throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Danga de danga de dang - Slice scores with a four punch combination!


Bryan is rocked!
Slice is throwing punches like he's double parked. Oh my word! Huge right hand from Slice shuts the power down on Bryan. Lights out, game over! Slice is your winner.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:26 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Kimbo Slice!
Daniel Bryan spoke after the fight, saying 'NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO!'.
