Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Thor Odinson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tobias Clint (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Thor Odinson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Tobias Clint! The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Winston Howard and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Clint closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Odinson did well to prevent Clint getting side control. Clint is pressing down on Odinson's thigh, looking to free his foot. Odinson is holding on for now. Clint landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Nice strikes from Clint there. Odinson has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Clint is working away from the top position though. Clint is pressing down on Odinson's thigh, looking to free his foot. Odinson is holding on for now. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Clint keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Odinson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Clint on the ground.
That's one minute gone in the round. Clint trying to pass the guard but Odinson defending well. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Clint in particular looking to stall. It looks like Clint might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Clint lands with a punch from half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Ground and pound from Clint. Clint is looking to advance position but Odinson won't allow it. Clint takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Thor Odinson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Odinson tries to clinch up. Odinson lands a head kick. Clint smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Clint has taken the fight to the clinch.
Odinson tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Clint smiles and moves away.
Clint moves into the clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Clint has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Odinson regains guard immediately. Clint sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Odinson's guard. Clint looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Clint gets to his feet - back to striking we go! Clint clinches with his opponent.
Odinson is trying to pull guard but Clint has him pressed against the cage. With the fighters up against the cage, Clint throws an elbow but misses. Odinson is fighting off a takedown attempt but Clint is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Odinson to the mat. Odinson regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Clint controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Clint is continuing to stall. Clint missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Clint not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tobias Clint dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Odinson is looking to clinch but Clint is avoiding it.
Clint throws a body kick that misses. Odinson throws a quick counter head kick but Clint was just out of range. Clint shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Odinson's guard. Odinson can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Clint controls the pace. Clint prevents Odinson from getting back to his feet. Clint throws a big right hand that misses. Clint controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. That's one minute gone in the round. Well, if Clint is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Clint wants to free his trapped foot but Odinson is holding on for dear life with his legs. Clint maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Odinson could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Clint has cracked it and Odinson is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Clint!
