Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Matti Teitsi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sadiq Hossein (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Teitsi throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Teitsi lets loose with a powerful body kick. Hossein will feel that in the morning.
Hossein throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Hossein tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Teitsi was well out of range. Poor timing from Hossein.
We've been hearing reports that Teitsi has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Sadiq Hossein seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Hossein is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Teitsi had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

Teitsi takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Hossein throws a nice looking combination but Teitsi bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Teitsi has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.
Hossein shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Teitsi eats them both and turns towards Hossein to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Hossein has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.

Hossein closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Teitsi! Hossein dives in looking to finish! Teitsi is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
