Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, John Long! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Tony Stark! The judges for this bout are Francis DeMontford, Damien Edna and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stark bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Long tries to get back to half guard but can't. Long struggling a bit here. Long is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Stark asserts his dominance and retains side control. Stark tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. Long tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Stark wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Stark tries to stand but Long is controlling his head. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Long wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Long holds on tight, trying to prevent any damage. Long is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Stark off and has taken his back!

Long is riding his opponent, not letting Stark buck him off. Long punches the canvas rather than the man. Long has good solid back control here. Long thows a huge left but connects with the canvas and not his opponent.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Long controlling well, preventing Stark from escaping the position.
Long controls the action. Stark just trying to survive but Long is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish. I would not like to be Stark right now.
Long working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet. Long is hanging on to Stark's back as he tries to escape.
Long has good solid back control here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stark covering up well under a series of strikes from Long. Long biding his time, looking for the opening.
Stark is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet. Stark just trying to survive but Long is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish. Stark is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Long.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Long controlling the position well here. Stark rolled but Long kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.
Stark is trying to stand back up. Long controlling from the back. Stark trying to control the position but Long manages to sink in the hooks. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Long slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.
Stark is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet. Long is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish. Long has the hooks in. Stark is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
John Long dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Long connects with a body shot that sends Stark's belly button to the back. Long misses with an uppercut. Long ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Long getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
It looks like Tony Stark has been cut. Stark tries for a takedown but Long circles away easily and Long counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Long throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Long throws a hook but Stark avoids it easily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Long rushes Stark and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. A short uppercut from Long. A right handed body shot lands from Long.
That's one minute gone in the round. Long lands with a short head shot on the inside. Long scores with a shoulder strike. Long stalling against the cage.
Long lands a body punch. Long escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Long cracks Stark with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Long has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Stark to stand back up! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Long drops Stark with a huge uppercut! Stark drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Long is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
