Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ohm Melet (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Naffiz Drayton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Ohm Melet! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Naffiz Drayton! The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Bart Greer and David Hoff.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Drayton moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Drayton looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Melet needs to keep his hands up - Drayton had a free shot at his head there. Melet gets tackled into the cage by Drayton. Drayton maintains the clinch. Melet keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Drayton's efforts to push away. Melet is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Drayton gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Drayton working hard to break the clinch. Drayton tries to break free but Melet pushes him back against the cage. Melet managing to block the knees to the body from Drayton.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Drayton manages to break the clinch.
Melet clinches up with Drayton and pushes him back against the cage. Drayton pulls Melet into guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Melet thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Melet distracts Drayton with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Drayton looking to control.
Melet cracks Drayton with a solid left hand. Melet is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Drayton working for a triangle but Melet defends it easily.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Melet with a flurry of punches that miss. Melet lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Melet throws a big right hand that misses. Melet loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Drayton looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Melet lands a couple of digs. Melet drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Drayton dives on top into guard.

Drayton must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Drayton throws an elbow that misses. Melet uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Drayton's guard. Nice move by Melet!
Drayton has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Melet can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Melet keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Drayton's head. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Drayton avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Melet stands up over Drayton, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Melet drops back looking for a leg! Drayton is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Drayton manages to kick Melet off! Melet jumps back into Drayton's guard. Drayton working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Melet. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Drayton tries to land a sweep but no joy. Melet has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Melet is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Naffiz Drayton will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
A cross from Drayton lands. Melet shoots for a double leg takedown but Drayton sprawls well. He's pushed Melet's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Melet shoots in looking for a takedown. Drayton tries to sprawl out of it but Melet keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Drayton manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Melet closes this distance looking for a takedown but Drayton circles away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ohm Melet. That's going to take a lot out of him. Drayton stuffs the takedown attempt from Melet. Melet gets slowly back to his feet. Drayton drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Melet defends it well. Naffiz Drayton seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Drayton throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Melet. Drayton throws a right hand that Melet ducks under and follows up with a left that Melet also avoids with ease. Melet is looking light on his feet compared to last time was saw him fight. Drayton closes the distance and pushes Melet back into the cage. Melet has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Drayton avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Drayton is trying to break free. Melet has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Drayton regains guard immediately. Drayton is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Melet is aware though and is defending well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Drayton is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Melet drops back looking for a leg! Drayton is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Drayton manages to kick Melet off! Melet jumps back into Drayton's guard. Melet throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Drayton works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Drayton wants to stand but Melet is controlling the position. Melet postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Melet is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Melet misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Drayton fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Melet, pushing him back against the cage. Drayton can't break the clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Drayton wants to break the clinch but can't.
Melet drops down looking for an ankle pick but Drayton pulls his leg out and moves away.

Drayton wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Drayton manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Naffiz Drayton showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
