Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Leland Stokes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake Carter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Leland Stokes! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jake Carter! The judges for this bout are James Glass, Steven Brown and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Carter rushes Stokes and presses him up against the cage. Stokes is looking to break free of the clinch but Carter has double underhooks. Stokes tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Carter gets control of Stokes's arms and successfully pulls guard. Carter will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Stokes throwing strikes but missing. Stokes throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Stokes throws a strike but Carter rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Carter not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Stokes controls Carter momentarily but Carter frees himself. Stokes will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Carter not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Carter wants to get up but he can't break Stokes's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Carter's corner is telling him to maintain position. Carter wanted to stand there but Stokes had control of the position. Carter sitting in guard here, content to control. Carter wants to pass the guard but Stokes is keeping the position.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Jake Carter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Carter keeps the fight on the outside. Despite the aggression on Carter's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. Stokes fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Stokes shoots in for a takedown but Carter shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Leland Stokes. That's going to take a lot out of him. Stokes looking to score a takedown here. Carter is defending well but Stokes drives through and ends up in Carter's guard. Stokes knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Carter on the ground. Stokes stopping the sweep attempt from Carter. Stokes has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Carter lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Carter advances to half guard.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Carter in particular looking to stall. Carter's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Carter scoring with strikes to the body and head. That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Stokes is looking for a sweep. Carter is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Carter wants to free his trapped foot but Stokes is holding on for dear life with his legs. Carter missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Carter sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Stokes defending well though. Carter tries to stand and escape but Stokes is controlling the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jake Carter dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Carter rushes Stokes and presses him up against the cage. Carter decides to pull guard. Carter wants to get back to his feet but Stokes is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Stokes throws a strike but Carter rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Stokes is trying to control the position but Carter postures up. Carter is in close to Stokes's body, working some short punches and elbows. Carter passes into half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Carter is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Stokes has managed to free his arm - good work. Carter not doing much here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stokes is defending against the submission attempts here by Carter.
Stokes is looking to control Carter's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Stokes avoid being mounted?
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Stokes wants to get back to full guard. Stokes wants to control but Carter passes into side.
We've been informed that Carter has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight. Stokes is looking for a sweep. Carter is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. Carter wants to stand but Stokes has his arm trapped.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stokes tries to bench press Carter off him but Carter keeps the position. Stokes struggling a bit here. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Carter drives through and clinches with Stokes against the cage.
Stokes is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Carter pulls him back up using the underhooks. With the fighters up against the cage, Carter throws an elbow but misses. Carter has hold of one of Stokes's legs. Stokes is fighting the takedown attempt but Carter gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Carter's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Stokes working a defensive guard but Carter manages to pass into side control anyway.
Stokes being controlled for a moment. Carter is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Stokes has escaped the position, nice work there. Stokes really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Stokes gets back to half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jake Carter showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

and Carter holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Carter has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Stokes regains guard immediately. Carter slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Carter stopping the sweep attempt from Stokes. Carter lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Carter slips nicely into half guard. Carter is controlling the pace.
More stalling from Carter.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Stokes avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Carter.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Stokes shoots for a double leg takedown but Carter sprawls well. He's pushed Stokes's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Stokes gets tackled into the cage by Carter. Carter maintains the clinch. Carter jumps guard.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Carter holds on and takes a little breather. Stokes throws a big elbow that misses. Jake Carter has got the better of the ground game so far.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Carter looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Carter tries to strike from the bottom.
Stokes trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Stokes trying to control the position from guard on top but Carter is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Carter managing to control the position.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Carter bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Carter scores with punches from side control. Stokes takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Stokes is rocked! Carter happy to just control the position for now. Oh Stokes is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Carter has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Stokes! Carter scoring with strikes but Stokes is staying in there. Carter unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Stokes wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Carter celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:46 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jake Carter!
