Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Caleb Carr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Harry Sugar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Carr comes to the cage accompanied by Gang Starr - Moment Of Truth. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Caleb Carr! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Harry Sugar! The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Saam Ante and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Carr throws a one two combo.
It looks like Harry Sugar has been cut. Caleb Carr seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Sugar throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Carr throws a series of punches but Sugar moves out of range. Sugar drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Carr gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Sugar. Carr lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Sugar circles away quickly and effectively. Sugar looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Sugar throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Sugar has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Carr throws a series of punches but Sugar avoids them all with ease. A nice side step and Sugar releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. Carr throws a nice looking combination but Sugar bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Carr digs a good body shot into Sugar's ribs. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Sugar cracks Carr with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Carr ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Carr swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. A looping hook to the body misses from Sugar. Carr does a little dance to reset his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Carr throws a right hand that Sugar ducks under and follows up with a left that Sugar also avoids with ease. Carr with a hook. Carr uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Sugar.
Sugar walks into a straight right hand from Carr. Carr rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Sugar moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Sugar has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Sugar there as he acknowledges the shot. Carr throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Sugar drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Carr defends it well. Carr looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. A big left from Sugar misses. Carr throwing a counter right hand but Sugar manages to avoid it. Sugar drops his hands momentarily and Carr takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Carr stalks Sugar and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Sugar's face. Sugar staggers backwards, shaken. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Carr scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Sugar is rocked!
That has opened up Harry Sugar's cut even more.

Sugar is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Carr with a body shot. Carr just misses with a punch to the body.

And Sugar tries to counter it with a takedown but Carr pushes his down on his head and steps out. Carr cracks Sugar with a right hand to the side of the head. Carr's corner calls for a 1-2. Carr obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Carr lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Sugar sprawling to the canvas. Carr follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Sugar hang on? Sugar is still in real trouble! Can Carr finish him? The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sugar is looking for a sweep. Carr is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sugar keeps trying to improve his position. Sugar seems to have recovered his senses. Sugar is defending against the submission attempts here by Carr.
Sugar is trying to get back to full guard. Sugar is pressing down on Carr's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Carr trying to control but Sugar is working from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sugar looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Carr passes into half guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Sugar tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Carr has advanced to mount. Uh oh. Sugar is trying to escape the mount.

Carr goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Harry Sugar's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters. Carr clinches up with Sugar and pushes him back against the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Both fighters working to control the clinch. Sugar wants to stall.
Sugar seems frustrated at his inability to get double underhooks. Carr pulls guard effortlessly. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Sugar throws a big right hand that misses. Carr looking to control.
Sugar trying to move into half guard but instead Carr has managed to sweep! Sugar is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Carr avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Carr is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Sugar can do to turn this around?
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sugar has his foot on Carr's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Carr works his way back into a safe position though. Carr trying to control the position from guard on top but Sugar is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Sugar wants to hit a switch here but Carr passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Sugar there! Carr controlling from the full mount. Carr throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sugar is trying desperately to improve position. Carr throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Sugar because Carr loaded up on that one. Carr trying to control but Sugar is having none of it. Sugar is wriggling around trying to escape.
Sugar tries to hold on but Carr postures up. Carr is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Sugar can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Carr throws a series of punches but Sugar moves out of range. Sugar with the counter takedown but Carr avoids it easily. Sugar changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Carr tries to avoid it but Sugar manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Carr to the ground. Carr escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Sugar stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Good standup being displayed there by Carr as he connects with a hook. Carr lands a right hook to the body.
Carr moves out of range as Sugar strikes. Carr misses with a jab, cross combination.
And Sugar tries to counter it with a takedown but Carr pushes his down on his head and steps out. Sugar avoids a punch combination nicely.

Carr has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Sugar is working away from the top position though. Sugar thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Carr's head. Sugar wants to take a breather but Carr is having none of it. Sugar seems to be working for a kimura but Carr defends the submission attempt. Carr is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Sugar's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Sugar's back!

I would not like to be Sugar right now.
Sugar is trying to roll into a better position but Carr has get a rear naked choke and Sugar is forced to tap out! This one is allllll over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:39 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Caleb Carr! In defeat, Harry Sugar stepped up to the mic, saying 'They call me stupid for a reason'.
