Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between George Middleton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steven Dame (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Dame's choice of entrance music: Sabendo Que Posso Morrer - Matanza. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, George Middleton! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Steven Dame! The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Michael Johnstone and Winston Alpacca.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Middleton works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Dame instigates a clinch. A shot in the inside from Dame. Come on Dame - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Dame is pushing Middleton up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Middleton is fighting off a takedown attempt but Dame is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Middleton to the mat. Middleton regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Dame throws a big right hand that misses. Dame postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dame won't allow Middleton to sweep him here. Middleton avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Dame accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Middleton working for submissions but it's allowed Dame to get to half guard.

Dame stands up out of the half guard. A kick lands to the mid section there for Dame. Dame shoots in and bounces Middleton off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Middleton throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dame stands and steps away. Middleton gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Middleton gets a double leg takedown into Dame's guard. Dame working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Middleton doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Middleton manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Dame keeping moving, preventing Middleton from controlling successfully. Dame wants to stand and escape but Middleton is having none of it. Middleton would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Dame has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Middleton can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dame tries to land a sweep but no joy. Dame keeping moving, preventing Middleton from controlling successfully. Middleton preventing the sweep. Dame manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Middleton manages to get himself to full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Middleton wants to control but Dame passes easily into half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Dame thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Middleton is looking for a sweep. Sloppy strikes there by Dame.

Dame sitting in guard, not really doing much. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Middleton controls Dame momentarily but Dame frees himself. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Steven Dame showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
A momentary lapse in concentration from Middleton enables Dame to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Middleton manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Dame has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Dame wants to pass the guard but Middleton is keeping the position. Middleton is looking to stand up but Dame isn't so interested in that idea. Dame gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Dame has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight. Middleton uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Dame has time to react. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Middleton lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. The fight moves into the clinch position. Dame blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dame keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Middleton's efforts to push away. A head punch blocked on the inside by Dame. Dame breaks from the clinch.
Dame takes the fight into the clinch. Dame pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Middleton scores with a body shot.
Dame tries to sprawl but Middleton drives through with a takedown into half guard. Dame moves into full guard.
Dame doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

Dame looking for a sweep. Not yet Dame, not yet. Dame keeping moving, preventing Middleton from controlling successfully. Dame takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Middleton throws a nice looking combination but Dame bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Middleton throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Dame tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Middleton is in Dame's guard. Middleton stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dame swivels though and keeps the full guard. Dame controlling the position. Middleton pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Dame is keeping the position for now. Steven Dame has got the better of the ground game so far. Dame looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
