Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rory Marks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rocky Balboa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Balboa has chosen 'Eye of The Tiger' by Survivor as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Rocky Balboa will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rory Marks! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rocky Balboa! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Robert Twigg and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Balboa. Balboa lands with a hook. Marks tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
It looks like Rory Marks has been cut. Marks wants to clinch. Balboa fails to land the takedown. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Balboa misses with a body shot.
Marks tries to counter by clinching up but Balboa breaks away and moves out of range. Marks moves into the clinch successfully.
Marks really is a fat lump. Marks fails to pull the fight into his guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Marks's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Marks connects with a nice looking jab.
Marks tries to clinch up but Balboa circles away and keeps his distance. As Marks backs off Balboa throws a huge counter combo but Marks manages to avoid it all. A momentary lapse in concentration from Balboa enables Marks to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Balboa manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Balboa looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Balboa trying to control but Marks postures up.
Balboa flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Balboa is looking to control Marks's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Balboa avoid being mounted? Marks looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Balboa wants to improve his position but Marks is controlling well.
Marks thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Balboa closes this distance looking for a takedown but Marks circles away. Rory Marks has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rocky Balboa. Marks throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Balboa misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Marks seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance. Marks swats away the attempt to clinch by Balboa.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Balboa changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Marks tries to avoid it but Balboa manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Marks to the ground. Marks escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Balboa looks winded! Balboa fails with an attempt to clinch.
Marks closes the distance and pushes Balboa back into the cage. Marks is trying to pull guard but Balboa turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Marks works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Balboa keeping moving, preventing Marks from controlling successfully. Marks wants to get up but he can't break Balboa's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Marks throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Marks throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Marks showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Balboa.
Marks appears to be looking for a big counter. Marks throws a quick inside leg kick. Marks gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Balboa fails with a takedown attempt. Marks is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Balboa. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Marks throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Balboa shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Marks but Marks pushes him off and we're back to square one. As Balboa tries to get set, Marks tries to push him back and clinch up but Balboa manages to avoid the attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Marks gets caught napping as Balboa dives in and scores a takedown. Marks manages to retain guard. Balboa pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Marks is keeping the position for now. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The fighters are working up against the cage. Marks manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage. Balboa is breathing heavily. Marks lands a takedown into guard.
Marks lands a couple of digs. Balboa is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Balboa is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Marks dives into side control.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Marks scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Balboa to see if he's OK. Balboa takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Marks wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Balboa, who protects the arm well. Marks works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Marks has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Balboa shoots in for a double leg but Marks sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Rory Marks has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rocky Balboa. Balboa keeps the fight on the outside. Nice sprawl there from Marks as Balboa shoots in. Marks fails to land with a series of punches.
Marks closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Balboa has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Marks clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Marks rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Marks is on the bottom, trying to hold on to half guard. He's throwing a few small shots here, to keep his opponent honest. Marks is trying to stand up here but Balboa is controlling him well. Balboa trying to advance position but Marks counters by regaining guard. Marks trying to strike off his back.
Marks pulls Balboa in close to prevent any damage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Marks has hold of one of Balboa's legs. Balboa is fighting the takedown attempt but Marks gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. Marks wanted to stand there but Balboa had control of the position. Marks wants to control from the top but Balboa keeps moving. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Marks slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Balboa takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's one minute gone in the round. Marks has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Balboa is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Marks yanks on the arm and Balboa is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Marks.
