PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lynwood Weiss (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and William Turn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Lynwood Weiss!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, William Turn!
The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Josh West and Paul Gruel.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Turn moves into the clinch.
Weiss has a couple of punches blocked by Turn.
Weiss throws a punch but it's blocked by Turn.
Turn throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Weiss blocks it with crossed arms.
Weiss is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Turn is keeping busy.

Turn tightens his grip and picks Weiss up, before dumping him to the ground. Weiss manages to land in guard.
Weiss wants to sweep here but Turn controlling him for the moment.
Turn lands a couple of elbows.
Weiss is trying to keep Turn in close.
Weiss really is a fat lump.
Turn won't allow Weiss to get back to his feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Turn landing with the ground and pound.
Turn sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Weiss might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Turn working some strikes from top position.

Weiss is trying to control the position but Turn postures up.
Weiss wants to get back to his feet but Turn is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Turn's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Weiss is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Turn is controlling him.
Weiss not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Turn in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Weiss wants to stand but Turn is controlling the position.

Weiss is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Weiss has momentary wrist control but Turn slips an elbow through the middle.

Weiss is rocked!

Turn stops Weiss from standing up.
Oh Weiss is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Weiss is breathing heavily.
Turn postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Weiss covers up, he's hurt! Turn keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Turn and the ref steps in to end the fight! Turn can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
