Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ingmar Scott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mica Gavric (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Scott comes into the arena with Ace Of Spades blaring out of the sound system. Gavric is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Frank Zappa - Cocaine Decisions. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Ingmar Scott!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mica Gavric!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gavric tries to clinch up but Scott circles away and keeps his distance.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Gavric.
Gavric tries to clinch but Scott moves out of range.
Scott swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Scott throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Gavric.
Scott throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Gavric counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Gavric pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Scott is keeping the position for now.
Gavric stopping the sweep attempt from Scott.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gavric wants to pass the guard but Scott is keeping the position.

Scott wriggles free and stands up.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Gavric shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Scott is trying to defend but Gavric finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Scott on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Scott tries to get out of the position.
Gavric uses his free foot to push down on Scott's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Scott.
Scott tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Gavric takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Gavric has hold of Scott's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Scott manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Gavric is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Scott is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Scott flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Gavric anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Scott and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Gavric slips an arm under Scott chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Gavric has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Gavric is squeezing on Scott like an anaconda would it's prey. Scott fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Mica Gavric!
Mica Gavric managed to slip a mention for his sponsors, Bad Man Clothing (Nothing Over $40), into his post fight interview.
In defeat, Ingmar Scott stepped up to the mic, saying 'I'll be back'.
