Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ceasar Morgan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arnost Paskalev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Morgan might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Fat Lip. Paskalev is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by The Crazy Nastyass Honey Badger. Ceasar Morgan could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Arnost Paskalev's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ceasar Morgan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Arnost Paskalev! The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Chad Campbell and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Morgan misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Paskalev will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Ceasar Morgan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Paskalev shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Morgan's guard. Paskalev loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Morgan looking to control but Paskalev passes into half guard.
Paskalev is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Morgan wants to improve his position but Paskalev is controlling well.

Morgan is trying to maintain the position but Paskalev is very close to passing his half guard. Ground and pound from Paskalev. Morgan flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.

Paskalev wants to pass to mount but Morgan is defending the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Paskalev blocks the strikes from Morgan.
Paskalev seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Morgan does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Morgan slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Paskalev preventing the sweep. No, Morgan has managed to free his arm - good work. Paskalev is trying to control the action in half guard but Morgan is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Morgan is looking for a sweep. Paskalev is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Morgan makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Morgan. Paskalev loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Paskalev pushes down on Morgan's leg and manages to get into half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Paskalev wants to free his trapped foot but Morgan is holding on for dear life with his legs. Paskalev looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Morgan with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Morgan wants to control but Paskalev is keeping busy and won't allow it. Paskalev looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Morgan is trying to get back to full guard. Paskalev trying to pass the guard but Morgan defending well. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Paskalev is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Morgan! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Morgan fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Paskalev avoids it really well and circles away. Paskalev shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Morgan is trying to defend but Paskalev finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Paskalev prevents Morgan from standing back up.

Paskalev has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Paskalev is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Morgan is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Morgan has escaped and now he's on top! Paskalev looking to hit a scissor sweep but Morgan is one step ahead there. Morgan working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Paskalev's head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Paskalev is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Paskalev is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Morgan is aware though and is defending well. Paskalev wants to sweep but no luck. Morgan trying to control but Paskalev is working from the bottom. Morgan throws a big right hand that misses. Paskalev looking for a guillotine here but Morgan defends easily.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Paskalev keeping full guard, as Morgan tries to pass. Our spies down at at Midnight MMA inform us that Paskalev has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off? Morgan stopping the sweep attempt from Paskalev. Paskalev trying to keep a closed guard but Morgan is proving a slippery customer.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Morgan darts in looking for a takedown but Paskalev gets double underhooks and turns Morgan into the cage. Morgan misses with a body punch
and Paskalev counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Morgan is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at Death Valley Training Facility, so we'll see if he gets out of it. Paskalev tries to pass the half guard into mount. Morgan knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Paskalev is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Morgan doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Paskalev.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Paskalev throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Morgan moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Paskalev stopping the sweep attempt from Morgan. Paskalev won't allow Morgan to get back to his feet. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Morgan not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Arnost Paskalev showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
A momentary lapse in concentration from Morgan enables Paskalev to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Morgan manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Morgan is on top in guard.

Paskalev stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Morgan swivels though and keeps the full guard. Morgan keeping moving, preventing Paskalev from controlling successfully. Morgan trying to keep a closed guard but Paskalev is proving a slippery customer.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Morgan tries to clinch up so Paskalev counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Morgan has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Paskalev is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Morgan. Paskalev scoring with punches and elbows.

Morgan tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Paskalev wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Morgan is working to avoid the ground and pound but Paskalev connects with a decent elbow. You can see the frustration on Morgan's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Paskalev landing a few strikes. Morgan manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Paskalev is trying to get back to full guard. Paskalev is pressing down on Morgan's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Paskalev had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Morgan defends it easily. Morgan looking to sit in guard and control but Paskalev gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Ceasar Morgan has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Morgan trying to control the position.
And that's the end of the fight! Arnost Paskalev comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Paskalev has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
