Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between John Duddy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Seyran Zeynalabdinov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Duddy comes to the cage accompanied by Dropkick Murphys - 'Loyal to No One'. Zeynalabdinov is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Saku. This should be fireworks!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Columbo Gatti and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Duddy throws a big shot that misses.
John Duddy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Duddy fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Zeynalabdinov.
Duddy scores with a sloppy right hand. Zeynalabdinov should have avoided that one.
It looks like Seyran Zeynalabdinov has been cut.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Duddy.
Zeynalabdinov uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Duddy.
Duddy tries to score a power double leg takedown but Zeynalabdinov sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Duddy somewhat.
Zeynalabdinov fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Duddy manages to avoid it.
Zeynalabdinov cracks Duddy with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Duddy is looking to clinch but Zeynalabdinov is avoiding it.
Duddy has a takedown stuffed.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Duddy scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Zeynalabdinov shoots in and bounces Duddy off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Zeynalabdinov stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Duddy swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Zeynalabdinov makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Zeynalabdinov trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Zeynalabdinov passes Duddy's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Duddy tries to get to full guard but Zeynalabdinov has control of the leg.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Zeynalabdinov connects with a nice short shot to Duddy's temple.

The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Zeynalabdinov throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Zeynalabdinov thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Duddy's head.
Zeynalabdinov passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Duddy!

It looks like John Duddy has been cut.

Duddy is bucking up trying to escape but Zeynalabdinov cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
John Duddy's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Zeynalabdinov with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Duddy is desperately trying to improve his position but Zeynalabdinov has a good base and remains in mount.

Zeynalabdinov moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Duddy has worked his arm free - good work by Duddy!

Jeez, John Duddy's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at John Duddy's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

During a confident post fight interview, Seyran Zeynalabdinov thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
